Hypnotherapy is a fast, gentle and effective treatment which uses hypnosis, psychology and relaxation in order to resolve many emotional and psychological problems including anxiety and nervous conditions. It is a deep relaxation process which allows you to access emotions, thoughts and feelings.
Types of hypnotherapy
The are two main types of hypnosis and hypnotherapy practised by Anne:
- Suggestion Therapy (sometimes called 'Clinical Hypnosis'),
- 'Pure Hypnoanalysis' (a unique therapy only practised by the IAPH)

Suggestion Therapy
Suggestion Therapy is 'normal' hypnotherapy. When you hear the term 'hypnotherapy' used in the media, they are (most often) referring to this type of therapy. Basically, you will be relaxed into a lovely, calm light hypnotic state (where you will be wide awake and fully in control - but nice and relaxed) and you will be given suggestions that will effect your behaviour/feelings once you are out of the hypnotic state - hence the term 'post-hypnotic suggestion'. This therapy works well for confidence building, smoking cessation, driving test or exam nerves, nail biting and weight loss.Pure Hypnoanalysis (sometimes called 'hypnoanalysis' or 'analytical hypnotherapy')
Pure Hypnoanalysis is the single most effective form of therapy available in the world today, for the resolution of anxiety, depression, phobias, fears, eating disorders and other psychological and emotional problems/symptoms. A course of analytical therapy is usually between 6-8 sessions but can, in some cases, take up to 12 sessions.Problems Covered
